Usually that's how I respond to songs: music first, lyrics next. If a song hooks me with the former and doesn't rattle my sensibilities with the latter, then I'm sold on it.

There are a couple of tracks that I'm not too fond of, but in an era where an album usually has three or four great tracks then the rest sound like fillers, then an album such as this (or Coldplay's latest) is (semi-)precious (wink, wink... hehehe).joelmcviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18271791181683397711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3202881605114576417.post-74512823829103545972008-09-17T05:57:00.000+08:002008-09-17T05:57:00.000+08:00okay, you sold it to me. even though "my life in t...okay, you sold it to me.

even though "my life in the bush of ghosts" was completely lost on me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3202881605114576417.post-36275596576167080942008-09-17T01:03:00.000+08:002008-09-17T01:03:00.000+08:00Amen, McVie. :)Amen, McVie. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
