@CC: I realized when I'm recording with a cue spiel in front of me, my voice pitch automatically switches on "performance" mode which, in this case, is "spiel voice". I guess that's because: [1] my mind knows I'm doing spiels; and [2] my mind is not worried about what to say next. Plus, I couldn't really raise my voice in the house cuz my mom was taking a nap in her room which is beside mine.
It's when I'm extemporizing or when I'm in a "put-on-a-show" mode that my voice pitch goes higher because my mind's busy thinking of what to say and how to say it.
