The following are proof that one can make a great print ad without an art director. (Okay, okay, I’m kidding, all ye art directors and artists out there!)

And below is my favorite of all three.
Aren’t they the coolest?! Man, I’d kill to be able to write even one. I now officially have writer’s envy, which is like penis envy except we’re comparing, uhm, copy length? Oh what the fuck, never mind.

i never did like long copies, coming from an AD's point of view. but these ones are good. whimsical yet elegant in execution...i especially love the third one. made me laugh...
:-)
good lord! where do i get the book?
@TREY: Hey, thanks for watching the show. :-)
It's not a book. Those are actual print ads. The concept is that they should look like pages of a book. If you look closely at the lower left or right (depending on the layout) where the Penguin logo's located, the tagline says "There's life in a book." It's a print campaign for Penguin books and book-reading in general.
bravo! bravo! bravo! excellent campaign! love it!!!!
Too bad it aint a book. Astig!!
@CORPCLOSET: FYI the campaign is not a local (Phil) campaign. It's by Y&R of another country (I just forget which one, sheesh).
